Jurnal Baitul 'Ulum pertama kali terbit pada tahun 2017. Pada saat itu, masih menggunakan nama Jurnal Baitul al-Ulum. Namun, pada tahun 2018 berganti nama menjadi Jurnal Baitul 'Ulum.&nbsp;</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Jurnal Baitul 'Ulum merupakan kumpulan hasil karya dosen, pustakawan, peneliti dan arsiparis dengan lingkup kajian perpustakaan, kepustakawanan, informasi (information studies) dan kearsipan, karena itu menjadi wadah pengembangan ilmu perpustakaan dan informasi yang kritis, dinamis dan aktual. Jurnal Baitul ‘Ulum menampilkan karya tulis berbahasa Indonesia dengan fokus pada perkembangan keilmuan yang merupakan hasil penelitian atau kajian teoritis yang berkaitan dengan literatur perpustakaan dan informasi serta kearsipan. Jurnal ini diterbitkan oleh Jurusan Ilmu Perpustakaan dan informasi Fakultas Adab dan Humaniora UIN Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin Jambi, baik edisi cetak maupun online. Jurnal ini bertujuan untuk memunculkan hasil karya dari penelitian secara berkualitas berdasarkan data aktual dan asli yang berkontribusi untuk para dosen, pustakawan, peneliti dan arsiparis studi ilmu perpustakaan dan informasi. Dari aspek perpustakaan diharapkan akan dapat ditampilkan analisis terhadap konsep/ teori dan struktur kajian ilmu perpustakaan yang mencakup kepustakawanan. The research method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive research method, with data collection techniques carried out through observation, observation, and literature study. The type of data collected is subjective which explains in detail the events or phenomena that are or have occurred. The results of this study indicate that the material taught in the literacy class program is to provide special knowledge related to the academic activities of the community and also especially in writing scientific papers. The modules that have been compiled by Telkom University OpenLibrary librarians in this literacy class program include: Information Search Module, Reference Manager Tools Module, and Academic Integrity &amp; Plagiarism Module. Library service is very important for the library because the service itself has a big impact on users who want to find information in the library. The purpose of this research is to find out how appropriate school library services are in Indonesia. This research uses a narrative literature review method from references related to school library services in Indonesia, the references analyzed are ten references taken through google scholar with reference criteria from 2013-2023. The results of the analysis of research methods show that school library services in Indonesia have partially met service standards, the types of services used are mostly circulation services and reference services. Some schools have also implemented information technology to assist librarians in cataloging, classifying, and processing other library materials. Many school library services in Indonesia have indeed met the standards, but there are still library services that are still manual in processing library materials. This is based on some librarians who are not library science graduates, besides the age of librarians who do not understand how to use the internet. The conclusion obtained from this research is that school library services in Indonesia have mostly met service standards, but there are still some that have not. The quality of library services is the main focus, as it support the teaching and learning process and contributed to achieving national standards. The research employs a cased study approach, involving semi-structured interviews, observations, and documentation analysis of accreditation forms. The results show that the library successfully achieved a total score of 92.02 out of 100, indicating excellent service quality, particularly in the areas of library services and management. The main challenges identified include limited collection development due to budget constraints and the need to enhance staff competencies of library staff through continuous training. This study is important because digital video has become a primary medium for government communication in delivering information to the public in a fast, accurate, and transparent manner in the digital era.</em></p> <p><strong><em>Data Collection Methods.</em></strong><em> This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through in-depth interviews with three informants who were directly involved in the video content production process..</em></p> <p><strong><em>Data Analysis</em></strong><em>. Data were analyzed through stages of observation, interviews, data reduction, and conclusion drawing to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the workflow of the video editing process.</em></p> <p><strong><em>Results and Discussion.</em></strong><em> The findings indicate that the video editing process at Diskominfotik is conducted based on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that refer to public information disclosure regulations and government communication ethics. The editing stages include footage selection, message structuring, voice-over recording, subtitle insertion, and multi-level review by relevant officials as a form of information gatekeeping. Technical obstacles such as audio quality issues, field conditions, and visual synchronisation problems are addressed through editing techniques and content adjustments.</em></p> <p><strong><em>Conclusion.</em></strong><em> The video production strategy implemented by Diskominfotik is effective in enhancing the accuracy, accessibility, and effectiveness of public information dissemination. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penyebab kerusakan koleksi tercetak, serta upaya pencegahan dan perbaikan kerusakan koleksi tercetak di Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Kabupaten Boyolali. Metode yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif bersifat deskriptif, data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kerusakan koleksi tercetak di Dinas Kearsipan dan Perpustakaan Kabupaten Boyolali disebabkan oleh faktor internal yang berasal dari kualitas kertas dan lem perekat, serta faktor eksternal yang berasal dari faktor lingkungan, seperti paparan cahaya, suhu dan kelembaban, debu serta faktor manusia dari pengguna perpustakaan. Pencegahan kerusakan koleksi tercetak dilakukan dengan memasang kaca film dan tirai, menghidupkan AC dengan suhu 20° Celcius selama jam layanan, membersihkan debu pada koleksi, mengatur jarak koleksi, pemberian kapur barus, memasang poster peraturan perpustakaan, menyediakan kotak khusus pengembalian koleksi, serta memasang fire sprinkler. This study aims to identify the information-seeking behavior of students at the University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo (UMPO). This study used a descriptive qualitative method with observation and in-depth interviews with four students of the Islamic Library and Information Science (IPII) Study Program from various intakes (2022–2024). Data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, verification, and conclusion drawing, and interpreted based on Ellis's information-seeking behavior model theory. The results showed that most informants had systematically applied the stages in Ellis's model, starting from starting, chaining, browsing, differentiating, monitoring, extracting, verifying, to ending. However, it was found that a small number of informants did not use any of these stages.
